About Us

After many years of prayer we opened our doors August 1, 2008.  The citizens of  Eastland County desired more than a  Pregnancy Resource Center and we wanted to help the whole family.  We have classes to help grandparents,fathers, mothers, and youth deal with the common issues of  life.  We are a faith based organization funded through the citizens of Eastland County.  The training and fellowship our volunteers and clients receive adds to the quality of all our lives.

The Open Door is a Pregnancy & Family Resource Center, which is financed by the Eastland County Residents and faith-based grans, for those struggling with unplanned pregnancies or under financial strain.  This will also include a youth resource center providing a safe environment for mentoring and educational programming for life skills.

Our friendly staff of volunteers helps to run daily operations of the center.  NakitaWilliams is our Executive Director who oversees the everyday operations.
